Team Lead / Coordinator (Identity & Access Management)

About the Role
Solasta is seeking a skilled Team Lead / Coordinator to oversee a small team of Identity and Access Management (IAM) professionals supporting one of our enterprise healthcare clients.
In this role, you’ll coordinate daily IAM operations — including user provisioning, Active Directory administration, and access troubleshooting — while ensuring that SLAs, documentation, and compliance standards are consistently met.
You’ll act as the liaison between client stakeholders, IT leadership, and Solasta’s IAM Support team, balancing technical expertise with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coordination
Supervise and guide a team of IAM Support Analysts and an IAM Engineer.
Prioritize, assign, and track service tickets and requests to ensure SLA compliance.
Provide mentoring, training, and quality assurance reviews of completed work.
Operational Oversight
Coordinate IAM-related projects, updates, and maintenance activities.
Ensure consistency and accuracy in account provisioning, license assignments, and group management.
Identify and implement process improvements or automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client’s IT management and business units regarding IAM operations.
Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly performance reports, ticket metrics, and project updates.
Communicate escalations or incidents promptly and professionally.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain and oversee updates to runbooks, SOPs, and access control documentation.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA, security, and internal access management policies.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
or equivalent experience (5+ years in IAM, IT operations, or system administration).
Prior experience leading or coordinating a technical team.
Solid understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and identity lifecycle management.
Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to manage workloads and priorities effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder and executive reporting.
Demonstrated commitment to security best practices and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in healthcare IT or other regulated environments.
Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting and IAM automation.
Familiarity with identity governance tools (Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, etc.).
Experience with vendor access solutions such as Securelink or equivalent.
